A well-prepared college student has refined intellectual abilities as well as a strong sense of self-discipline. King College Prep believes that students are better prepared when they are well-rounded. The arts help develop self-discipline and balance.

We all learn how to focus our minds in different ways. For many students, this focus is developed while playing a violin or trumpet, painting on an easel, practicing in a dance studio, or rehearsing lines on a stage. This focus then helps students become stronger math, science, and literature students.

King’s scholar-artists have been offered millions in scholarship dollars to continue their art at the college level.
